Rather than statically partition available TDP between the CPU and GPU, SmartShift allows power to shift dynamically from one to the other depending on workload. Customers have looked forward to the capability debuting on AMD laptops, but information from Frank Azor suggests they'll either be buying a Dell laptop or waiting until 2021. NexDock The NexDock Touch is now in the pre-order phase of its release. The device is a laptop shell that is powered by your smartphone or other computing devices. It will only cost $250, but the price will increase after the pre-order phase ends. Nex Computers is rolling out the third iteration of its line of NexDock laptop shells.
